StageCoach Theatre Arts Schools
At StageCoach we give equal emphasis to the three main
performance arts elements of drama, dance and singing. This
allows us to provide your child with a totally unique
experience.
Over time, by participating regularly in our lessons, classes or
camps, your child
will become well-rounded and self-confident. They will begin to move well
and to communicate clearly. StageCoach classes not only teach
skills for the stage, they are lessons for life.

About the program
StageCoach started in the UK in 1987 and quickly grew into the
largest network of part-time theatre schools in the world.

In
1997, Simon McAllister, US Founder and Senior Principal,
started the first school in the US right here in Minnesota.
There are now five schools across the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro
area, two schools in Chicago, two in New York
and one in Vancouver, Canada.
More about our programs...
Our mission has remained the same as that implemented by the UK
founders, Stephanie Manual and David Sprigg:
"StageCoach is dedicated to providing a quality performing arts
education, complimentary to normal academic studies, which in
addition to cultivation lasing performance skills, develops
self-discipline, confidence, interaction, poise, imaginative
thought and other essential life skills."
Weekend Programs
StageCoach training in dance,
acting and singing is offered
to children and teenagers aged 4-18.
Each StageCoach term or session is different and your
child can begin their StageCoach training any time at any age.
Your child will be in a small group that we
call a 'stage'. Each stage
consists of 15 students of a similar age and your child will stay
with this group until old enough to move to the next stage.
Each day consists of a dance, acting and
singing class of equal duration and your child will learn skills and
techniques, play games and rehearse shows. Summer Camps
Let your child immerse themselves in a week-long stage-school experience.
StageCoach summer camps are an opportunity for your child to
participate in a fun packed music theatre arts camp that concludes with a musical production
for family and friends.
Summer camps are held in Eagan, Minnetonka, Oakdale, St. Louis
Park and St. Paul. |
